Determining the Training Needs of Teachers in Ethical Use of Information Technologies

In this study, the training needs of teachers regarding ethical use information technologies were examined. The levels and significant differentiations according to gender, teaching level, professional seniority, branch, education investigated. discrepancy view approach normative need type used. data collected via “the Scale Ethical Use Information Technologies in Education” developed by Baysan Çetin (2019). survey method was applied. research carried out with 745 working public schools city center Afyonkarahisar, Turkey. sample group determined stratification simple random sampling method. Schools stratified as primary school, secondary divinity school high school. A certain number from each stratum lot, it aimed reach all specified schools. More than half participants female a rate 55.5%. Data five different main branches. According results, 22.8% Stalking sub-dimension, 14.5% Communication 9.4% Confidence Material sub-dimension. Privacy Accessibility sub-dimensions, nearly 1% training. Regarding technologies, there differences some sub-dimensions independent variables. Results show that less expected.
